Hello, is there a way to attach an infrared receiver to operate the receiver in the sideboard?

The DENON itself has no IR input, but you can do this with a commercially available IR repeater kit. These are available from Marmitek, for example, as Invisible Control 6 XTRA or other manufacturers.
The operating instructions say: "When you connect an IR receiver, activate the remote control lock. After activating this function, you can no longer control the unit with the remote control. This function is deactivated by default."
However, there is indeed no IR input, as on Denon's more expensive units.
