Mine was fitted with a CH plug. Saftey Touch is probably the name given to the fact that you can always touch the outside of the kettle without burning your fingers. And the limescale filter at the spout is a "net" that holds back coarse pieces of limescale, but certainly not dissolved limescale.
Yes, mine has a CH plug. The filter, which stops coarse limescale particles, can be safely removed from the top. However, it is not particularly effective and limescale particles still flow out when pouring. However, we are very satisfied with the kettle.
In my case, it was a German Schuko with a CH adapter on it. When I plug it into the 3-way socket, it occupies all 3 connections. That's annoying. Apart from that, the kettle is good and easy to maintain.
