Hello. is it possible to place an ordinary power supply unit (ATX) in the housing?

Unfortunately not, since there just isn't enough space. You can use either a pico psu or one of the streacom power supplies. For a perfect build you really want the Streacom ZF 240 (Streacom ZeroFlex 240 power supply unit (240 W))
