Hello, I see on this product that it has controller type: SATA controller and another product with item number: 15988476 has controller type: M.2 controller, then what is the difference? Which one is better for product part number: 37960189?

Thanks for the tip, I have just reported the incorrect information (SATA controller). Neither controller supports SATA, only NVMe. Both are well suited for your Verbatim SSD, but the more compact card with part number 15988476 would be sufficient if you only install one SSD:
