Hello, I ordered this mainboard because it said in the specifications that this mainboard already supports the new 13th generation processors. However, the packaging only says that it supports the 12th generation processors. I would like to know if the bios on the mainboard is outdated and I have to update it via Bios Flashback, or if I can use it directly with a 13th generation processor, even though the packaging (and the Asus Web Shop) for my serial number 90MB18M0-M0EAY0 only says that it supports 12th generation processors. I'm quite confused because it says here under the specifications that it supports the 13th generation, which is not the case with almost any other z690, although after a bios flashback they would already support the 13th...
And is the latest bios installed? I would also like to buy it directly with a 13th processor.
the 13700k was recognised on my board.
(Ordered on 28.12.22)
works for the 12 and 13...on the board is a sticker where it says which bios version is installed...then you can compare the bios for your mainboard on the asus support page...if the latest one is installed it will also work...
