Hello, I got this device from eich today, all our M.2 SSD's don't fit in it ! e.g.: Samsung 980 PRO V-NAND SSD

This combination does not fit together and cannot work.
The IB-183M2 enclosure uses SATA (AHCI) as the data protocol.
However, the SSD Samsung 980 PRO uses NVMe (PCIe).
However, this must match and cannot be mixed. It is not enough to only pay attention to the M.2 form factor.

Remember that you can only install single sided SATA M2 SSDs here. For NVME SSDs you basically need a different case. Then make sure that for larger capacities such as 2TB, where memory chips are installed on both sides, you choose a case that has enough space between it and the carrier board.
