Hello I would install an antenna amplifier. Then the signal goes through the original FM antenna of the car. I have combined this radio with an amplifier and it works fine and is easy to install. Have used a DAB+ ANTENNA SPLITTER from Ebay Euro 9.99. Works great with Pioneer DEH-X7800DAB
