I am quite flabbergasted at the moment... According to the product description, the device should have an internal memory of 8000MB. At the moment I haven't imported any photos yet, but I only have 5.05GB available (0GB of 5.05GB occupied). Actually, I'm expecting just under 8GB. (You don't advertise 8 GB of memory and then need almost 3 GB for the operating system...). Are these 5.05GB normal? (By the way, the quick start guide mentioned in the user manual is also missing...). Is that also 'normal' or was I sold an already used part as new here?)

I agree with you about the memory. To be honest, I didn't pay attention, but I'll check that too.
