For this reason, you will also receive the updates for the German market. Unfortunately, cruise control is no longer permitted there. We cannot provide you with modified software for a single product. We are sorry that we cannot help you in this case". So much for the statement from Segway Ninebot.
Users of an Android mobile phone have the option of using the "Xiao Flasher" app to install the original version of the software for the scooter. Then the cruise control is available again. This worked perfectly for me.
