Yes, 2 SSDs are possible. I have even installed 2 X "WD Black SN850X 4000 GB, M.2 2280", as I like to have a selection for gaming and have installed a lot of games. Everything runs smoothly and the heat development is also within a reasonable range. I am also very satisfied with the performance.
