WiiM Amp
network receiver
Hello everyone I'm about to switch from my record player (entry-level model) to a professional one (Denon DP-DJ151) and would like to install the WiiM Amp between it and my speakers (Klipsch R-41PM). Is there anything I need to pay special attention to? I would also like to connect the WiiM Amp to the TV and operate it with AirPlay. Thanks for your help!
A phono preamplifier is also required, which is connected between the turntable and the Wiim amp. I would make sure that this is of very good quality, as the phono sound is largely dependent on this part (together with the pick-up system).
Hello GetönterFrisbert26
Are the speakers active speakers? Because then I don't think a WIIM amp would be absolutely necessary! (If I have understood this correctly)...
As I have seen, the Klipsch speakers have a phono input.
Maybe it would be better to connect a pure streamer in this case...
Good day
You still need a phono preamplifier. The WiiM amp does not have one built in.
