I own the DMP-A6 first generation...connected analogue via XLR to the Yamaha RX-A6A via XLR.
Is it correct that this connection uses the DAC from the Eversolo ?
That's the way I want it.
Or do I have to connect digital or coaxial.
I'm not so sure at the moment.

Yes, if you connect the DMP-A6 to your Yamaha RX-A6A via XLR, the DMP-A6's internal DAC will be used. This is the desired connection to use the analogue output of the DMP-A6. You do not need to switch to digital connections such as coaxial or optical to use the DAC. The XLR connection allows a direct analogue connection that uses the DAC function of the DMP-A6.
