Hello everyone, I came across your product by chance and find it very interesting. I am planning to install a Flic Button in a restaurant so that employees in the buffet area can press it when containers are empty and a lamp in the kitchen is switched on. My aim is to make the solution completely wireless without using a smartphone. I would like to know if it is possible to realise my plan with two Flic Buttons to switch the light on and off, using the Flic Hub as a communication bridge and controlling a smart lamp. If this is possible, which lamp would you recommend and what would the overall solution look like? I look forward to your feedback.

So you only need the mobile phone to set up the FlicHub once in the Flic app, no mobile phone is required for operation. The problem I see is that you can't query the status of the lamp with the two switches and therefore can't easily switch from both switches without SmartHome (Alexa, Homekit, HomeAssistant or similar). If WLAN is available, it would be simpler at best to use a Hue Bridge with 1 E27 RGB bulb, which is clipped somewhere with a simple lamp and hangs directly from the power supply and two switches for the buffet and kitchen, albeit somewhat more expensive. Or a similar integration from another manufacturer.

One lamp per container or just one lamp in total?
Any Hue bulb with a switch would also work .... or any other brand with a remote control.

In my opinion, the Flic doesn't work without a mobile because you configure the entire control system there. Incidentally, the switch is not so durable if it is used frequently.

According to the AI on your website, the above solution is possible with a Philips Hue smart bulb. However, I have a few more questions:
Does this solution require a monthly subscription?
Can the Philips Hue lamp be ordered in red?
Is the lamp plugged into a socket or is it battery operated?
I look forward to your answer.
