Question about Netgear GS105GE

Hello everyone, unfortunately I have the problem with this switch that in some cases my PC and my PS5 are only connected at 100 Mbit/s instead of 1 Gbit/s. This is extremely annoying as I have a Gbit line. As I have a Gbit line, this is extremely annoying. I probably still have version 1 of the switch as I bought it about 15 years ago. Would it be worth getting a newer version or has the hardware remained the same over the years? Many thanks for your answers and best regards.
