Question about Samsung QE55S90C
Hello everyone. Does anyone know how to remove the Samsung TV Plus app? It's quite annoying and I don't want adverts for a TV I bought for more than 1000 CHF. I've tried the 'Edit List' icon but it turns grey and can't be selected. Thank you very much!
From the Samsung support page:
"Samsung TV Plus is a built-in function of your Samsung TV and cannot be completely removed. However, if you delete all channels from Samsung TV Plus, the app will no longer appear on your TV unless a new channel is added."

There are probably some Tizen hacks you could look for. I don't know anything about that.
In general, I assume that we all had to agree somewhere in the terms and conditions to be shown adverts. A very cumbersome business model. But once again, an actor like the EU has to intervene to change that.
