Question about Audio-Technica AT-LP60X

Hello, does this product need a. Preamplifier or not? the answers to this are not exactly unanimous. I also couldn't find out anywhere what distinguishes the AT-LP60X here from the AT-LP60XBK, for example. Merci for an answer, Peace ✌️
