Hello. Does anyone know if I buy a current TomTom Go (Superior), does this device support 4G? In Switzerland, 2G has long since been switched off, and 3G will also be switched off at the end of this year. Every country seems to have different rules. LifeView and the like will no longer work in CH from the start (it makes no sense for me via a mobile connection, I might as well use Google Maps). Thanks, Lars
The LifeView only works if you connect the TomTom to your mobile. We weren't aware of this when we bought it - but it seems to be the norm today. We don't use it much and if we do, then only "offline", because for us a mobile is for making calls 😁!
The TomTom Go Superior 6 no longer has its own SIM card, it connects to your mobile's internet via Bluetooth, which can be 4G or 5G. The mobile naturally needs a mobile data connection when you are on the move.
it only works via mobile phone and hotspot, no more SIM card in the device
Hello, I don't use mobile phones. What do TomTom or Digitec have to say about your question?
