Question about Astro Gaming A50 Ps4
Hello dear community, I am thinking of buying the a50 gen4. My question is whether I MUST connect the usb cable to the PlayStation or whether it is only for power supply. Could I also plug the usb cable in with a plug into the socket? Or does the usb cable have a special purpose? Thank you

Good evening
The USB cable not only serves as a power source, but also as a transmission of the audio source. So when you connect this to your Playstation/Pc you get power, as well as the audio signal from the Playstation/Pc is transferred from the station to your headset. So you can NOT just use it in the socket, otherwise you won't get any audio from your Playstation/Pc. Except maybe a crackling sound from the power. :)

I thought that's what brings the sound?
