Hello Community I would like to assemble a PC. Thought for image editing (Lightroom, Photoshop). I currently have a case and an i7 7700K 4.2GHz processor. For the mainboard I thought about an Asus. This one doesn't look bad in my opinion. Doesn't it? What RAM do you recommend? Which cooling for the processor? Thank you very much for your help. Greetings.

Thank you for your answers.
Then I have some more questions.
What kind of graphics card do you use (Photoshop/Lightroom)?
Is water cooling advisable?
Thanks for the answers in advance.
Have a good evening.

Yes, great board!

I can only agree with the previous speaker about the RAMs. You can't go wrong with Kingston Value RAM. On the other hand, I have only used HyperX Fury in several PCs so far, they look a bit "cooler" and are even cheaper than the Kingston Value.

As a relatively easy to install, quiet Venti, I can recommend the Arctic Freezer 13, this model comes without a backplate. Just check

whether the space requirement is sufficient (you can find more information on the manufacturer's website).

For me, the mainboard has been running reliably for months. With RAM (especially for your application), the quantity is more important than the timing parameters, according to tests by the magazine c't (Heise Verlag). I cool the processor with the supplied propeller, which is no problem because I use an ancient tower case (3rd mainboard in 15 years). I use the board for everyday work plus scientific

simulations, for which 16 GB RAM is enough.
