I have a question about the Astro A50. I've had mine for a while, it's not the 3rd generation. It has been working perfectly with the PS4 for 3 years.

Now I would like to connect it to my PC. Unfortunately, it only has a 3.5 mm mic jack and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
The Astro only has an optical audio connection. Can I now connect the headset to my PC with an adapter (Y-cable from mic-jack and audio-jack to optical audio connection)? And listen to the sound and use the MIC at the same time?
Or is that the wrong approach? Or is there another possibility?

Hello Andri,

The easiest option would probably be to upgrade the PC with a sound card that has an optical audio output.
