Hello Community
I am interested in this safe, but I saw the following video on Youtube....

What do you think about the manufacturers?
Best regards and stay healthy!
Hello
First I was a bit shocked when I watched the video, but unfortunately it's true. With a little practice, this lock is child's play to open within 50 seconds. All I needed was a Swiss Army knife. And the lock is still intact, mind you. Well, first and foremost I want to protect the contents from second persons. If third parties have fun with the safe, they will always find a way to crack it. BUT: If I had known about this beforehand, I would definitely NOT have bought the safe. The operation and the fingerprint scan are otherwise really satisfactory. Quiet, reliable, fast and the batteries last a long time.
The lock does not seem to be the best. But that is not so relevant for me. I bought the part for my gun. It's ideal for that. I have it quickly in my hand in case I need it and my daughter can't reach it...
Hello
Yes, it doesn't look very good at first, but of course it depends on how you want to use the Master Lock.
The lock really isn't the best, but let's be honest - a box made of 2mm sheet steel is at best a better "protection against being taken away".
With a cutting disc, the thing is open in 2 minutes, and with a good crowbar, the safe is levered away in 15 seconds.
But I still think it's good! It opens quietly thanks to the gas pressure damper. I use it to store a firearm outside my gun safe.
I replaced the lock, drilled additional mounting holes and attached it to a solid concrete wall with heavy-duty adhesive anchors. Oh, and you have to find the part first ;-)
