Hello, can someone please tell me what the black is like? Is black really black or does it go into grey ( apparently, according to research). Does it reflect strongly? Thanks already.
This is an LED LCD TV, none of the LED TVs can show real black, only OLED TVs can show real black, so I wouldn't even try it with LED. You usually only get grey in a darkened room, where an OLED shows real black, because OLED switches off all pixels, but behind an LCD TV there is a light source and it shines through the LCD panels. Grey may still look black in daylight, but that is just an illusion.
My recommendation would therefore clearly be OLED, such a model would be ideal for real black and great home cinema:
LG OLED48C27LA (4K, OLED, 2022, 48 ")
It's not 50 inches, but the picture is simply worlds better with OLED than with LCD.
