Yes is absolutely possible, bought it exactly for that and it works perfectly.
This SSD is certified for the PS5.
Sony requires only SSDs WITH a heatsink for the PS5.
I bought this one for exactly this purpose.
I also installed these in my PS5 about a month ago. Super simple and quick installation and everything worked perfectly straight away.
