Renpho Body fat scale
180 kg
Hello all I read in many reviews that this scale provides precise measurements. This may be true for weight, but I find that the body fat readings are extremely inaccurate. For example: body fat percentage according to professional measurement approx. 13%, with this body fat scale a full 21.3%. It is clear that the results of a body fat scale can deviate in comparison to a professional body fat measurement, but I find such deviations quite enormous....are there also some of you who have this experience with this product? Greetings
Yes, for us the body fat measurement is wrong. We're in the red when in fact we're perfectly within the norm.
I always had a body fat percentage of 18-20% on my previously used scale, over years, sometimes even at 15%. When the scale stopped working, I bought the Renpho body fat scale. Suddenly my body fat percentage was between 25-27% and I was classified as "obese" according to the Renpho app - with a slim build, a BMI of 24 and regular exercise. After a few months, I took the Renpho scale out of service and bought a new body fat scale. Now I am back in the previous range (about 20%). The Renpho scale is also very small, so there wasn't enough room for my feet. Maybe that is the reason that at least the body fat measurement is not correct. Therefore, I cannot recommend the Renpho scale.
Hi
I haven't done a professional test yet, but theoretically my body fat is a good 21% according to the scales, which is also much too high. Greetings
