Question about LG HU80KSW Presto
Hello all I have been using the LG HUKS since September 2019, it hangs on the ceiling in a smaller room that serves as a cinema. For two days now it has been making a few beeping noises when it starts up and then there seems to be no picture, just a bright glimmer. Switched off and restarted no beeping and the picture appears, but now it always beeps when starting up and the picture does not appear, what should I do, all components are connected correctly, can it be that temperature fluctuations are the problem now that the heating period is starting again. I have exactly the same problem. Whistles several times when I switch it on, then only a faint glow. The warranty has just expired, no one feels responsible, neither Galaxus nor LG. And this is despite the fact that this error seems to occur frequently. It can't be that I have to dismantle the device myself. What can I say, never again an LG device!
Hello...I don't think temperature plays a role...except for extreme differences so that condensation can form....
but not in the flat.
if the picture does not come even with streaming on the beamer, then I think it should be repaired,,!

I have had several problems with the LG HU80KSW, and have disassembled and reassembled it several times in the meantime.
Here are my experiences
1. it draws in a LOT of dust. Once I could solve the problem by unscrewing it and removing the dust with compressed air spray.
2. the thermal paste on the cooling is a weak point in my opinion. I had a similar problem. Because the thermal paste had dried out. Unscrew everything. Unscrew the cooler. Carefully put a drop of thermal paste on it and close everything again. It works again for me
