Hello all. I would like to install 10 fans in this enclosure. Three at the bottom, three at the top, three at the side and one at the back. The three at the bottom blow into the case. The three at the top (with gpu radiators water cooling) out of the case. The one at the back also blows out of the enclosure. In which direction should the fans on the side go? To the inside you would have an overpressure and to the outside a negative pressure...which is better? Many thanks for the answers
I have a radiator at the bottom and at the side where the air comes in, and the air goes out at the top and at the back. With this setup, I have a water temperature of about 40°C - 41°C (AMD 5900x, RTX3090) and am very satisfied.
As christiancf also said, it is important that the warm air goes out the top. I removed the filter mat at the top so that the warm air flows out better, but left the ones on the side and at the bottom because they suck in the dust.
I have the same setup, the fans on the side blow inwards. The fans at the top are the most important, because the hot air can and wants to escape upwards from the enclosure. It makes sense to support this with more air pressure in the enclosure. In addition, positive pressure in the enclosure keeps the components dust-free in the long run.
