Has anyone with this power supply already experienced that when the power supply was completely off, the fuse blew when it was switched on?
I would guess that your power supply is ok, but your fuse is a little weak.
when you switch on, the current flowing may be much higher than the nominal 1 kW (google inrush current). it is probably not only your pc that is connected to the fuse, the sum of all devices is the relevant one. in many older houses you have 10A (or even weaker) fuses, from which your power supply unit draws a nominal (maximum) 4.3 A during operation and, as mentioned, possibly even more when switching on.
under no circumstances replace the fuse with a stronger one!
I must be writing faster than my brain works at the moment.
13A to 6.5
100v to 230v
50hz-60hz it says
should actually mean at 230v the power supply is at 6.5A or a little higher but far away from 10A or 13A or am I seeing this wrong?
Voltage lower Current higher to get the same power.
