You will hardly be able to do this yourself. Because you have to remove the panelling of the A-pillar. The airbag for the windows is normally installed there... It's too tricky for me to do it myself. The aerial also has to be earthed to the metal frame. The paint also has to be sanded off... It's not cool that this wasn't clear when I placed the order....
Good evening, I have just installed the Noxon Road 2 this afternoon. If the aerial cable is to be laid neatly, then the covers on the A-pillar and, if possible, the glove compartment have to be removed. An "all-round mechanic" helped me with this and the installation was completed in just over an hour. It looks clean and the DAB reception on the 15-year-old Renault Senic radio is very good. The only thing I couldn't do was save my favourite stations.
The disc must be really clean, not just a little. If the disc starts to come off, you'll never be able to fix the antenna again, otherwise it's just a question of where you pull the cable through. Depending on this, the effort is greater or less. This was not the antenna from this product, the Dab+ antennas are basically the same everywhere
