Hardware-wise, because of the use of the Thunderbolt 3 standard under licence from Intel, compatibility with other Thunderbolt devices must be guaranteed by the device manufacturer, but is it really possible software-wise to connect the Lenovo 730 13" with the original adapter to an Apple Thunderbolt display? (Power for charging does not have to be supplied) Unfortunately, I can't find any information about this, with the Dell XPS you have to switch something in the Bios and then it works. I hope someone has already had experience with this or has a Thunderbolt display available to try it out. Merci!
