I have a question: Transfer size: 4KB: 1600MBs Read 1300 Write 16KB: 3380 Read 4928 Write 64KB: 5879 Read 6130 Write 512KB: 5940 Read 6709 Write (3 weeks old and have benchmarked it many times). But since I would never use 64KB and would use 4-8KB I find the performance with PCI 4.0 very weak for the price.... Is it possible to get more performance with only 4-8KB transfer size? (For my job I have to transfer a lot of data back and forth)(Mainboard MSI MPG Z590 gaming plus because it supports PCI 4.0 and works well with the i7-11700K....) Does anyone have an idea how I would get more performance for 4-8KB as a quarter of the performance is way too little for me....
If you often have large amounts of data to transfer, buy an SSD with a heat sink.
Absolutely understandable, the best thing to do is to check your BIOS version. Here is the direct link to MSI: https://de.msi.com/Motherboar... If this does not help, I recommend that you contact Kensington directly: https://www.kingston.com/de... Kensington should hopefully be able to tell you what the problem is or whether there is a possible defect.
