Good evening We bought this device and only have 9 games on it. We thought there were many more installed. Does anyone know why?

Hello,
Yes, these are the basic games but you can add others. You need to buy an extra SD card that will fit in slot 2 on the right-hand side. Insert it and the machine will automatically create folders in it (these are all compatible emulators, e.g. gameboyadvence GBA, NES, PS, etc). Then you download the roms (games via a site such as https://www.emulatorgames.net/roms) and copy the downloaded game (.zip file) into the correct folder on the SD card. If it's a GBA game, put it in the GBA folder, if it's a NES game, put it in the NES folder, and so on. You put the SD card back in the machine and you have your games on it. It's not as complicated as it sounds. I received it a few days ago and I'm playing all my childhood games - it's brilliant (Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, Tetris etc).
I hope I've made myself clear

Good evening, I'm not sure why there are only 9 games when you buy the product. It was the same for me. However, you can add games.
To do this, you need an empty micro SD card. Put it in the second micro SD slot and switch on the console. In the console settings you can configure this second card so that it contains all the folders for the various consoles that the anbernic console is capable of emulating. Once that's done, all you have to do is add the games to the folders on this second card.
