Question about SanDisk Extreme Portable V1

There are a few things to consider when operating an SSD in a NAS. In principle, SSDs can be used for these purposes. However, you must check whether the SSD in question is designed for such continuous operation (especially because of the number of write cycles). You should also check whether the respective device supports the SSD (-> check the manufacturer's page of the Swisscom box or ask Swisscom directly). Here is another article that "scratches the surface" on the subject of NAS and SSD. What I noticed with my Sandisk Exteme Portable is that it gets relatively warm (warmer) compared to other SSDs I have when it is used intensively (reading/writing). However, I use the SSD on my laptop for image editing. So far I'm very satisfied with it, but I can't say anything about wear and tear or lifespan.
