Question about Kingston FURY Beast RGB
Good day I bought the https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/hyperx-fury-rgb-2-x-8gb-3200-mhz-ddr4-ram-dimm-ram-11820797 3 years ago and would now like to stock up. However, this one is no longer available, instead there is now this one. Since HyperX is from Kingston and the basicly is the same product with a different name, I was wondering if I can combine these modules. Can anyone help me?
This Ram from Kingston will certainly work, but depending on the mainboard and "presets", it may only run at a basic clock frequency of
basic clock frequency of 2400 MHz. However, this can be easily remedied via the bios system, if the function exists at all.
In my case, both cases occurred, despite a new gaming PC (HP Omen GT13). I then had to return the RAM.
However, HP is to blame for this and not the RAM.
It works but rgb lighting is spinning so I bought 4x new and sold 2x.
