Corsair RGB Fan LED Hub

Good day, Do I understand correctly that I have to plug the RGB cable from my QL-140 into this hub. Then I have to connect the USB cable to my mainboard and the SATA cable to my power supply so that the fan works properly? With kindest regards Nico E.
I was also extremely confused by this Corsair system. I used this guide and found the right products: https://forum.corsair.com/v3... According to the guide, this hub does not have a USB interface. In your case, you need a controller with a channel output to control the RGB. I have a Corsair channel output directly on my MSI board and therefore only need this hub for my fans. If you don't have that, a Lighning Node Core is recommended, which has the USB header to be controlled via iCue. If you also want to control the fan speed via iCue, use the Commander Pro.
Good day I have 3x QL-140 RGB connections from the fan to this hub, the hub and the fan power cables in turn I have the Corsair Commander Pro and this is connected to the mainboard USB port so that everything works properly. Care should be taken to ensure that the mainboard USB port is wide enough. Install the Cosair iCUE software for control.
