Question about Synology DS216play

Good day, which HDs would you rather recommend for this system, WD Red Pro or WD Purple? It will be used as a media server with Itunes. so HD movies and music streaming.

so the wd red pro 6tb does a maximum of 280mb/s, a minimum of 95mb/s and on average about 175mb/s... the synology enclosure allows you a maximum of 107mb/s where 1Gbit = a maximum of 125mb/s.
but because of the 30.- more per disk the hd with 5 years warranty (red pro) vs. 2 years (purple) or 3 years (red without pro) is more important in my opinion.
so you have made a good decision - have fun with your new toy!

I have now decided on the WD RED Pro 6 TB. This is because of the 128 MB cache and the 7200 RPM. I have now learned from a test report that the WD Purple is only 5400 RPM, which is analogous to the WD RED. The Pro is therefore probably the best choice, even if they cost a little more.
