I have contacted the manufacturer directly with this question. Here is the answer I received by email:
The Merlin has been officially allowed to drive on Swiss roads for a few weeks. We are currently busy informing our customers and dealers about the approval. However, it is only allowed if the speed of 20km/h is not exceeded. On the one hand, this is your own responsibility, but it can also be set with a mode (Eco Mode 2).
