Yes, it works with the Galaxy Tab S3 tablet from Samsung. In my opinion, Microsoft's Surface is a bit better, but it works well on the Samsung tablet; you can place the heel of your hand on the tablet when writing. The only annoyance is the button on the pen, which I often press while writing and then a menu with pen functions pops up.

The pen only works with Samsung products (or Bamboo, because they were bought by Samsung) and their display reacts immediately to the pen tip when it comes close to it (approx. 5 mm). The device (tablet, mobile phone, pen pad, etc.) switches to pen mode and you can, for example, place the heel of your hand completely on the tablet without it interfering with the pen input. Works perfectly, even if you lift the pen. There are no dots, marks or strokes from the palm.
The pen is very comfortable and fluent to write with and easy to make notes or sketches with, it feels good in the hand - but is a bit light compared to a biro.
Important: requires pen-enabled Samsung displays (e.g. Note8, Tab S3, Tab A S-Pen), does not work with normal displays like S6 (edge), S7 (edge), S8(+).

I.e. with an app e.g. from Synology (DS Note) it would not work?
