From which shop do you download books to kobo devices?
Kobo, Payot, Fnac... apparently all the bookshops selling digital books (to be verified) except Amazon. So much freer than being chained to a single supplier.
But there's a 'little' snag: only Kobo seems to allow you to download books directly from your e-reader. If you buy a book from other suppliers, you have to download the book onto your computer, connect the e-reader with a cable and transfer the book via an app (e.g. Adobe Digital Editions).
It takes a long time the first time (you have to download the app), but after that it's not really any harder than transferring a file to a USB stick.
... freedom is worth the effort :-)
Kobo, Swiss libraries, etc.
