First question Is it possible to control a HUE socket when "triggered", which then provides power and consequently activates an alarm system connected to it... Second question: Can the sensors in the HUE app be activated/deactivated in the automation for a period of time?

Hi Pascal
I bought a Zigbee plug and integrated it into Hue. When the door opener opens, the light on the plug comes on for 5 minutes.
Yes, you can define a time window when this should and should not run. all in the Hue app

I think you could control a Hue smart plug when the contact sensor is triggered and thus control and trigger the device plugged in with it.

No, I haven't found this feature in the Hue application.
It's only possible to make Hue lights flash when there's an alarm. In my opinion, it's not possible to trigger a Hue-controlled socket.
However, as I also needed to trigger a Hue-controlled socket and I have an iPhone, I used My Home and the automation function to do this. It's not perfect, but it's good enough for me.

No, the automation in the Hue application only controls the lights or controlled sockets but not the accessories (contact sensors, motion detectors).
Best regards.
