Field report question: We have a RAID system with 146GB disks and have been supplied with a 300GB disk as a replacement. Are these really 100% compatible?

Hello, the replacement disc must be the same or larger than the original disc.
It is important in a RAID that the type of disc is the same, i.e. SAS/SATA, 7200rpm/10000rpm 15000rpm and of great advantage from the same series because then the mounting frame also fits.
