Does this unit have an automatic sleep function? If so, can it be switched off? (Use for a Chromecast Audio)

This is certainly too late for you, but may be interesting for others:
You can send a soundless signal in the Chromecast so that such standby functions do not take effect.

After around 20 minutes of inactivity (no music playing), it switches to StandBy mode. Very useful.
