Question about AsRock B550M Pro4

Does this motherboard already have a BIOS version that supports the Ryzen 7 5700X? I would like to avoid having to update the BIOS. If anyone has bought the board recently: Which BIOS version was pre-installed?

I had the same concern when I ordered 2 AsRock B550M Pro4 boards for the Ryzen 5 Pro 5650 GE CPU. When I read up on it at the time, the boards had to have a newer UEFI (ugs. still BIOS) installed. To do this, I clarified in advance how time-consuming it would be to carry out this update. The result was that the manufacturer had already linked it with little effort to update the mainboard - that's why I decided in favour of it.
The boards I ordered at the same time came with different UEFI versions, but both were so up-to-date that I didn't have to update them.
So I would risk it if I were you.

Unfortunately I can't answer that. I have installed 5600G on the board and it runs perfectly. But I found something else. Here is the comment

If the board manufactured any time after April 2022 it should support 5700x out of the box.

I installed a Ryzen 5800xt and it ran without any problems. Of course I updated the uefi afterwards.

Good question, unfortunately I can't answer it for you. I'm running the Ryzen 5 5600G with the BIOS P2.20 from 2021.
I don't know yet whether I will update the BIOS.

I bought it about 1 month ago and it had BIOS version 3.20 on it.
Worked without any problems with my Ryzen 9 5900X.
