Does this motherboard already have a BIOS version that supports the Ryzen 7 5700X?
I would like to avoid having to update the BIOS. If anyone has bought the board recently: Which BIOS version was pre-installed?
I had the same concern when I ordered 2 AsRock B550M Pro4 boards for the Ryzen 5 Pro 5650 GE CPU. When I read up on it at the time, the boards had to have a newer UEFI (ugs. still BIOS) installed. To do this, I clarified in advance how time-consuming it would be to carry out this update. The result was that the manufacturer had already linked it with little effort to update the mainboard - that's why I decided in favour of it. The boards I ordered at the same time came with different UEFI versions, but both were so up-to-date that I didn't have to update them. So I would risk it if I were you.
Good question, unfortunately I can't answer it for you. I'm running the Ryzen 5 5600G with the BIOS P2.20 from 2021. I don't know yet whether I will update the BIOS. NEVER CHANGE A RUNNING SYSTEM
