Gamma and brightness can be calibrated along with colours. In my view, sharpness has nothing to do with colours, gamma or brightness. Sharpness must be calibrated 'by eye'. In addition, it depends on the calibration software. The x-rite software is not bad, but there is better software on the market (e.g. CalMAN). But for home use in a cinema to calibrate a beamer it is sufficient. The x-rite is a solid and very good solution for home use.
