Does the watch recognise the training automatically or do you have to enter which exercise you want to do beforehand?

Hello Abd1@

Yes, the Garmin Venu 2S has the Move IQ feature from Garmin.
Once this feature is activated, the watch has an autotrack function of your activities.

However, if you want to have accurate measurement data, it is recommended that you also activate the tracking for the type of sport you want to do for an upcoming workout.
