Does the update to Windows 10 Pro, which Microsoft is probably offering free of charge, make sense and is it easy to do?

Helpful answer

Hi. Makes perfect sense - with W10S you can only install programmes from the app-store, nothing else. Upgrade is easy as pie - you just have to enter the new product code

But I'm not quite sure whether the Microsoft Surface Book is the right one.
