Does the TomTom Go Premium have a 2G, 3G or 4G SIM card?

Please clarify this issue for your customers and publish the correct information in a prominent place.
Since the 2G network will be switched off in the foreseeable future (around the end of 2020), this information is very important. Until I have this answer, I will definitely not replace my TT Go 5100 with a TT Premium.

Unfortunately, I do not know the specifications of the SIM itself. However, according to my information, the built-in module only supports 2G/GSM. For more information, it is best to contact the manufacturer directly.

Where do you get your pseudo-information from?
There are NO plans at all to switch off 2G in Germany!
2G serves as a fallback network for voice communication. 3G will be switched off.
You'd better be glad that TomTom doesn't jump on every new bandwagon, but relies on stable networks. 2G has now achieved the best network coverage and is relatively fail-safe.
