Question about NZXT Source 340

I wouldn't call it a controller. If you wire it up like the manual says, the case fans go more or less directly into the power supply and are therefore always at full speed as long as the system is on. The fans go off when the system is switched off (even if the power supply is still on), but that's all it can do, certainly nothing temperature-dependent.

The case fans have standard connectors and can be plugged into the mainboard instead to use its fan control (if the mainboard allows it, of course). Works well with my ASUS mainboard.
