Does the record player come with a US/Japan plug on the power cable? It looks like that in the pictures.

No, plugs for Switzerland were included. :-)
It has different, interchangeable adapters for the power supply unit. (Included in the scope of delivery)
Bought in Switzerland with a Swiss plug.
