Yes, but only the USB cable is supplied. You need to have your own power adapter (e.g. phone charger). And without batteries, the battery indicator will flash (very small and black like the rest of the display so not really disturbing). We didn't understand if you could put non-rechargeable batteries with the plug (power failure and turn off the light) because of the very short instructions.
