Question about Fractal Define R5 Black
Does the MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Gaming X Trio fit in this case without me having to remove the HDD cages or anything else?

No, that's not possible.
At least not without choking. At 32.7cm (specs RTX 2080 Trio MSI) you are at the full HDD cage. If you remove it, you have a full 44cm. I would recommend a maximum of about 30cm with the HDD cage. I now have a GTX 970 in it (28cm).
The R5 case is a HDD monster though. It depends on how many HDDs and SSDs you want to install.
Even if you remove the middle 4 HDD cage, you still have room for 2x2.5" (on the back of the mainboard plate + 3x 3.5" or 2.5" in the lower cage and 2x5.25" mounting bays.
